How to Plan an Industrial Powder Coating Line
Plan a powder coating line using the standard XFS sequence: load, pretreatment, dry-off, powder application, cure, cool and unload.
Direct answer
A powder coating line is planned from the workpiece, not from a booth catalogue. XFS Equipment uses this sequence:
Load → Pretreatment → Dry-Off → Powder Application → Cure → Cool → Unload
Liquid paint lines add Flash-Off after spray. Powder lines do not.
What we need from you
- Largest part size and weight
- Material and coating specification
- Pieces per hour or per shift
- Floor length, height and crane coverage
- Gas, electric or other heat available on site
How the factory uses that data
- Hangers and conveyor type
- Pretreatment stage count
- Booth opening and recovery type
- Oven length from dwell and line speed
- Load and unload space
Construction-metal parts such as formwork, climbing frames, guardrails and noise barriers need a larger envelope than small brackets. That is a core XFS Equipment line type.
