Purpose

What it is used for

UV curing equipment exposes a UV-curable coating to lamp energy so the film hardens in a short dwell, instead of a long thermal oven cycle.

  • Not a substitute for powder thermal cure unless the coating is UV powder or UV liquid

Can UV curing replace a powder curing oven?

Only when the coating is specified for UV. Most powder systems still need a thermal cure oven. XFS Equipment supplies both.
