FAQ

Water-Curtain Spray Booths FAQ

Answers to the questions we are asked most often when a finishing line is being planned.

When is a water-curtain booth used instead of a dry-filter booth?

Water-curtain booths are typically selected for higher liquid overspray loads. Dry-filter booths are often used for lighter spray duty or where a wet tank is not wanted. XFS Equipment will recommend a type after reviewing the coating and plant conditions.

A water-curtain booth is a liquid-paint machine, not a powder booth. XFS Equipment builds the booth, water tank, exhaust plenum and working opening around the parts you spray.
